Hey ya'll I'm Leslie Esterline, Owner and Photographer of Ginger Snaps by Les. First, let me take a moment to Thank You for stopping by and checking me out! Just a little snippet about how Ginger Snaps came about... I was born and raised in Marion, Ohio into a family who simply loved taking pictures, capturing moments, and looking back on all the memories made. As a kid growing up mom ALWAYS had a camera on her eye. Wherever she went she had the camera, plenty of rolls of film and batteries, oh the batteies lol. Every milestone was documented, even if it was just "tuesday," but she was ALWAYS there with her trusty camera ready to capture the moment! Growing up yeah we gave her a bit of grief for always havnig a camera in our face, we were young we didn't fully understand, but it was all in good fun. We would spend hours looking through toy boxes of photo albums, sharing stories, learning about my ancestry, my parents through their early years, our early years, it was fun talking about the memories made. Photos can literally tell your story. Photography has always just been a part of my life and I would photograph everything. However, becoming a mom in 2004 to my beautiful daughter I fully grabbed the torch and I was now the one with the camera on my eye in my kiddos face snapping away at EVERY little milestone. 2011 made me fully appreciate the importance of a picture when I lost my father. The value of his photos became priceless as now that is all we have to look back on. One year later in 2012 my son was born with angel kisses and the story started all over again capturing every milestone. Fast forward several years and thousands of photos later I decided to take a leap of faith and follow a dream that has turned into one of the greatest adventures I've ever taken! It's so rewarding to bring this passion to your events and turn them into memories to last a lifetime!!!
